East Coast Scuba Diving
There are some fantastic diving days to be had at Shoal Bay. You can dive in the middle of winter and collect seafood, or enjoy the warmth of the coastal rock pools and reefs, diving for paua, kina and crayfish in the summer.
In the clear beautiful water the underwater marine life is abundant in these coastal waters, with huge underwater rocks and reefs, forests of seaweed, and schools of shoaling fish.
