In earlier years one had to wait for a radio telephone line to become available, but the Shoal Beach Development company has made a huge investment to install towers and equipment to ensure telecom would provide services to the residents and area.
A dedicated Wireless channel and ADSL exchange was installed providing quick access to enable people within the area to have all the benefit of being in town to help run their business from the beach.
